Each one of these faces has a life story behind it. No matter how trivial and short lived the life of a child can seem, it is not the least trivial to their Father. It’s ironic how I choose this topic to blog about, since I was the most reluctant team member to work with the kids. but children were the ultimate test of the “no numbers” statement I made - that these people are not just a statistic. the parents have many kids because they never know how many can survive to adulthood. from an outsiders perspective, they are almost seen as dispensible. yet, each one of these faces will go home to a entire lifetime ahead of them, each will leave their fingerprints on some person, some place, some community. and each fingerprint, no matter how small, will be an impression that will make a difference.
